Street2School’s solution is to provide an innovative infusion to education by building an avenue that meets the children at their convenience, minimising the rate of out-of-school children
Street2School = A sustainable and self sufficient mobile school that provides quality education in communities. A youth led initiative created to solve low level of education in Nigeria.
Learning Pillar
The learning pillar supports the payment of our educators, provides daily lunch packs for the children, logistics, teaching materials and the general admin.

Construction Pillar
All donations for the construction pillar will go into constructing and furnishing our mobile schools.

Tailored solutions to the children and community needs
Street2school provides education based on the level of education and knowledge the children have. This will be done by undertaking an assessment as children are enrolled into the school to understand the best methods to teach. We will adapt to the needs of children, including to children who are learning English as a second language and for communities that do not speak English.

Becoming one with the community
We will become part of the community as the community will be involved in educating the children and volunteers will become the teachers. Youths in the community will be trained to administer the level of education the children deserve. This innovative idea will also help in tackling youth unemployment in Nigeria.

Self-sufficient and Sustainable constructions
The school is be designed to be able to generate solar power as well as have a water collection and filtration system: The school will be designed with emphasises on flexibility; the workrooms can be expanded, extending the workrooms beyond the confines of the construction, creating more workspace. The flexibility of furniture is also vital eg. the projector board acts as the classroom whiteboard and can also be used for outdoor cinema.

Accessible Quality Education
Our desire to see quality education accessible to vulnerable children in underserved communities in Nigeria prompted the design project #STREET2SCHOOL to build mobile learning spaces where education meets the children at their own convenience.
