Eco friendly construction

Our idea is focused on promoting the concept of green practices by promoting the Environmental Social and the economic concept of development. This will be evidence in repurposing our school bus to a classroom. We intend to use sustainable and eco-friendly materials for the reconstruction, which will have little or no carbon foot print for the interior items such as the seating, desk, the interior walls the flooring. 

Carbon Emissions

We intend to counter the emission of the bus by introducing solar powered electricity to power all the appliance and gadgets to be used for the class room unit. And to also cater for the beneficiary community by helping in charging their phones and other gadgets, serving as a source of revenue for the project. This in turn will reduced the use of fossil fuel generator in the community. We also intend to include climate education in our curriculum a few times.

Solar Power

We will install a water collector and filtration system within the unit, this will also cut down the cost and the carbon emission that would have been incurred through the conventional way of sourcing water. In the long run we intend to either convert the bus unit to a fully functional electric vehicle or replace it with and electric vehicle for a fully sustainable unit.
